iCONNECT mentors Khadijah, Shenella, and Kasiem, and student social work intern, Nicole, organized and took their iCONNECT groups on their first trip of the semester last Wednesday. iCONNECT program manager Sarah Bowie also joined in on the occasion. The students collectively agreed that bowling would be a fun experience for them. A total of 12 iCONNECT students attended the trip to Gil Hodges Bowling Alley in Brooklyn, NY. They played two competitive games against one another. Although competitive, the games were filled with laughter and energy. The trip served as a team building experience for everyone and the student have expressed their excitement and anticipation for our next outing.
